Professional Credentials
I bring a Master’s in Music Composition and decades of experience in the professional music world. I’ve worked with theater production companies, record labels, independent artists, bands, and music education organizations throughout the course of my career. I understand the landscape and the expectations that come with it. I am not a novice in this area and have the knowledge and skillset to bring what you need to the table with precision and professionalism at the helm.

What instruments are you available to perform on?
I prefer to perform professionally on guitar and oboe. I also play and teach piano and ukulele and when appropriate can provide those skillsets as needed.
What types of venues and events have you performed at?
I’ve performed in clubs, theaters, and large-scale venues across North America, Europe, and Japan. I’m comfortable in a wide range of settings including intimate private events to major touring productions.
How quickly can you learn material for a fill-in situation?
That depends on the complexity and volume of the material, but I’ve been doing this long enough to assess that quickly and give you an honest answer upfront. I won’t commit to something I can’t deliver at a professional level.
Are you available for a single performance or short-term engagement?
Yes. I’m open to one-off performances, short-term fill-in situations, and project-based engagements. Reach out with the specifics and we’ll assess whether it’s a fit.
Do you have experience working with other bands or artists outside of your own projects?
Yes. Between touring, session work, and fill-in engagements, I’ve worked in a variety of collaborative contexts and understand how to integrate into an existing lineup or production without disruption.
Are you available to lead master classes or guest instruction sessions?
Yes. I hold a Master’s in Music Composition and have over 25 years of teaching experience. I’m available for master classes, guest lectures, and specialized instruction for schools, ensembles, and private groups.
How is pricing determined for musician for hire engagements?
Pricing is based on the scope of the engagementm the type of performance, preparation required, duration, and travel involved and we can discuss the details and an agreed upon rate.
