My Background
I hold a Master’s in Music Composition and have spent 25+ years working across performance, recording, and composition at a professional level. I’ve worked alongside record labels, theater productions, independent artists, and live touring acts. I know what different environments require and how to meet those requirements without a lengthy onboarding process.

Start by reaching out with a description of what you need. If it’s a recording, that’s session work. If it’s a live performance or fill-in situation, that’s Musician for Hire. If you need music written or adapted, that’s arrangements. If you’re booking Brian for a solo performance, that falls under Solo Performances. When in doubt, just send the details and we’ll figure it out
Do you work with clients outside of Madison?
es. Session work is available remotely to clients anywhere. For live performances and in-person engagements, travel is factored into the scope and discussed at the time of inquiry.
How is Pricing Determined?
Pricing varies by service and scope. There are no flat rates posted because no two projects are identical. Reach out with your project details and I’ll respond with a clear, straightforward quote.
How far in advance do I need to book?
As early as possible, particularly for live engagements. Studio and arrangement projects are more flexible, but earlier is always better to ensure availability and adequate preparation time.
What genres and styles do you work in?
Classical, rock, metal, jazz, blues, neoclassical, video game music, and more. Multi-instrumental range means the answer to most genre questions is yes — reach out with your specific needs and we’ll confirm from there.
