MUSIC LESSONS

Beginners, Advanced, Intermediate Players

This Musical Journey Is Yours

Learning music is easier with someone who’s walked the path before you. I’m still on my own journey. I’m always learning, always discovering, and I’ve chosen to spend it helping others figure out how they learn best and what clicks for them.

I'll Meet You Where You're At

It doesn’t matter where you’re starting from or where you want to end up. What matters is finding your connection to music. It’s one of those rare things that stays meaningful no matter where you are in life, and I want to help you discover that for yourself.

I will help see you through to those pivotal breakthroughs so you can discover and evolve your talent. My goal is to provide you personalized guidance and alleviate the frustration occurs for everyone, myself included, when you’re learning how to play and understand the language of music.

My Background

If you know you’re ready, head on over to my booking page to get started and schedule your first lesson.

How Lessons Are Structured

Weekly Lessons

Consistency builds progress. We’ll meet weekly for 30 to 60-minute sessions. Regular lessons give us time to work on technique, address questions that come up during practice, and keep building on what you’re learning. You’re not just getting isolated instruction; you’re developing a relationship with the instrument over time.

Real World Application

I don’t teach from a textbook alone. Everything I show you comes from years of musical study, performing, recording, and working through the same challenges you’re facing. When I teach you a technique, I can tell you how it’s actually used during your studies in music school, on stage, in the studio, or in a composition. You’re learning from someone who’s applied these skills professionally, not just academically.

Student Focused Learning

Your lesson is yours. I pay attention to how you learn, what excites you, work through what’s giving you trouble, and create a pathway that keeps you inspired.

I started in the same place as everyone else, the bottom. My goal is to help you get where you want to be by sharing my experiences and insight to help you learn in ways that support advancing and achieving your goals.

Theory & Technique

Music theory and proper technique are the foundations that support everything else you’ll learn. But they shouldn’t feel like obstacles or abstract concepts you have to memorize. When taught in context, connected to the music you’re actually playing, they become powerful tools that give you freedom, understanding, and control over your instrument.

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
